Hello,
I would like to setup SSO between CRM and Outlook. Client based groupware is active here.
If I check the documentation of SSO in a client based groupware config, I have 2 options of which SSO via X.509 client certificates is 1 option.
I would like to set this up with the Secure Login Server and use the SAP PKI for generating the X.509 certificates.
In this way the SSO from CRM to Outlook should work but what I wonder is can, I use the SAP PKI (via the Secure Login Server) for SSO from Outlook to CRM? So when users are in Outlook can they go and get a X.509 client certificate from the PKI in the Secure Login Server?
The other option is via SAP logon tickets but you need a Java system which generates your SAP logon ticket which is then used to connect into the CRM and further to the Outlook.
2 questions here:
CAn I also use an abap system as a sap logon ticket issuer? CAn I even use the CRM system itself as a logon ticket issuer?
This setup also seems as in option 1 to be used for SSO from SAP CRM to Outlook but what about the SSO from Outlook to CRM?
Thanks already for some feedback to clear this out for me.
